The text
discusses the problems that have arisen many years in the Chilean State, which
is related to the privatization of water. This is a problem for many years in
our country, so many people have said in order to claim a right which belongs
to the nation and should not be in private hands. For this, a march was held in
Santiago de Chile against the privatization of water and the protection of
glaciers.
From my perspective,
water and glaciers are natural resources to be protected by the people, for
this is necessary to stay in Chilean hands and not in private hands that make
use indiscriminately of these resources and do not consider that they are
exhaustible resources. Water should be protected, is this who keeps us alive,
it is not fair that private parties take ownership of a resource that is so
characteristic of the Chilean population.
